Funding
How ArchMyWay is funded
Students never pay to find or plan for an opportunity. The money that keeps the site running comes from firms, schools and sponsors — and none of it can buy a better position for anyone.
Free for students, always
These never sit behind a paywall.
- The full catalogue — every scholarship, fellowship, internship, competition, travel grant and research fund
- Eligibility matching, with the reason behind every match
- Saved lists
- Side-by-side compare
- Application checklists
- Deadline reminders
- The funding plan
Ad-free is optional
Everything above stays free. Ad-free only removes the ads.
Go ad-free
Remove every ad from ArchMyWay. Everything else is already free.
Where the money comes from
Display ads
The free version may show ads on content pages such as opportunity listings, never on forms or your questionnaire. Ads are non-personalized and never use your profile or answers.
Ad-free
Students who would rather not see ads can remove them for $1.99 a month or $14.99 a year. Nothing else changes.
Firm postings
Firms pay to post paid internships and early-career roles. Postings are listed apart from the catalogue and labelled as firm postings.
School advising licenses
Schools license an advising view of their own students who opt in, shown only as aggregates for groups of 10 or more.
Sponsor tools
Organizations that run scholarships and fellowships can pay for tools to manage and correct their own listings. A correction still goes through our review against the official source.
Disclosed partner links
Some links to outside services may pay us a referral fee. Every one is labelled as a partner link.
What money never buys
Results are not for sale
Money never changes match results, verification states or the order of the catalogue. Inclusion in the catalogue is never paid.
Paid items say so in words
Anything someone paid for carries a label in plain text with an icon — never colour alone.
Student data is never sold
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Partners see aggregates, only for groups of 10 or more
A school or partner never sees an individual student through us unless that student chooses to share their progress, and never sees anything for a group smaller than 10.
What a school advisor sees
School advising licenses show advisors their own cohort, on the students' terms.
Can see
- Totals for their own school's cohort only, and only once at least 10 students have joined: upcoming deadlines among saved opportunities, applications by stage, funding applied for, the total funding-plan gap students chose to count, and the kinds of opportunities saved.
- How many of the cohort's seats are in use.
- For students who chose “Share my progress”: their name, how many opportunities they saved, applications in progress and submitted, their next deadline, and the funding gap they chose to share.
Can never see
- Any totals or progress for a cohort of fewer than 10 students — only how many seats are in use.
- The name or progress of a student who chose “Totals only”.
- Your profile answers, grades, citizenship, financial need, first-generation or veteran status.
- Your notes, saved-list notes, reminders, or the details of your funding plan.
- Anything after you leave the cohort or delete your account — you disappear from every advisor view immediately.
